Update

So remember when I took a break from dancing? Well, I'm dancing again with Zero II Hero and it's great to be off the couch and not studying hahaha.

Yesterday, was a really funny practice because the people who weren't blocking were playing a game and I kept getting confused and they were laughing at me hahahaha! Oh my gosh. I've missed laughing so hard my stomach hurts. I love my team so much!

The end of a semester means I can finally breathe and focus on my passions. Such as dance and photography, and my old passion of videography. People may wonder why I wasn't so into photography/videography back then. Well, you would be wrong because in Japan I was always holding the camera and recording my friends. I was always into photography also, it's just that who didn't have enough money to buy their own camera? Yup that's me. But I was fortunate to have an amazing boyfriend who wanted me to share my passion with the world and so he bought me my first ever DSLR, which I am a million times grateful for.

Which brings me to the latest videography I did for my friend Rae and 909 dancers. It was very fun recording them, and they were really nice! Every photo or video shoot teaches me more about my style and what I need to improve on. This was a good learning experience on what I could do better to record motion.

I'm pretty upset right now because I know I won't be graduating with Summa Cum Laude. Instead, I'm graduating with Magna Cum Laude. Because my freshman year I took some horrible classes with some horrible teachers. Right now I have a 3.688, which I'm not complaining about. That's a pretty damn nice GPA. By fall, I'll hopefully have a 3.7… Yeah, yeah. In the end grades don't matter, I just know how to give people what they want, therefore, I get good grades (; That's a great trait I guess. Because in this society it could possibly help me land a job.

My sister's graduation is this weekend!

What an accomplishment to all graduates of Spring 2014! Here I would like to share photos I did of my sister Denice, while throwing in a few before and afters at the end (:

My sister will be graduating with a BA in Criminology and Criminal Justice. It took her about 6 years to complete her degree. Most people now are taking longer to graduate which has become a reality in statistics. But was it my sister's fault? Not at all. Sometimes personal life gets in the way, or even the the structure of schools. In any case, all that matters is that she saw it through and persevered to the end!

Graduation is crossing the bridge to better and brighter things ahead. The journey down the bridge has been a struggle, but once you take the first step off it, the opportunities can be endless and another journey takes fold. Don't worry about money and security, just strive to be happy. With every bridge you encounter, just know that the grass is always greener on the other side.

And here are Before and After Edits I wanna share with you guys (:

My sister wanted a Vintage type of feel to her photos so that is why I added a grain effect to it and therefore the clarity and sharpness are toned down, but for the last two pictures I decided to edit it to my own liking. Hoped you enjoyed this set! :D Thank you all for taking the time to visit my blog! Seriously, it means a lot!
