My sister's graduation is this weekend!

What an accomplishment to all graduates of Spring 2014! Here I would like to share photos I did of my sister Denice, while throwing in a few before and afters at the end (:

My sister will be graduating with a BA in Criminology and Criminal Justice. It took her about 6 years to complete her degree. Most people now are taking longer to graduate which has become a reality in statistics. But was it my sister's fault? Not at all. Sometimes personal life gets in the way, or even the the structure of schools. In any case, all that matters is that she saw it through and persevered to the end!

Graduation is crossing the bridge to better and brighter things ahead. The journey down the bridge has been a struggle, but once you take the first step off it, the opportunities can be endless and another journey takes fold. Don't worry about money and security, just strive to be happy. With every bridge you encounter, just know that the grass is always greener on the other side.

And here are Before and After Edits I wanna share with you guys (:

My sister wanted a Vintage type of feel to her photos so that is why I added a grain effect to it and therefore the clarity and sharpness are toned down, but for the last two pictures I decided to edit it to my own liking. Hoped you enjoyed this set! :D Thank you all for taking the time to visit my blog! Seriously, it means a lot!

Michael Bboy Shoot

I got the chance to capture one of my very close friends Michael Dagohoy today. He was my first friend in Southern Temecula and is one of the most passionate persons I know. One of his biggest passions is dancing, specifically Bboying. Even though Michael is busy with adult duties now, he still gets a chance to break, and make no mistake; he is by no means rusty at all. I like to call him Bboy Angel for he soars like an angel and that's his real name. Without further adobo, here he is.

Head Shots of Nicki

Took this photo shoot of my friend Nicki in front of the Harveston Lake. Nicki just wanted some head shots for her portfolio. I only used my 55-200mm lens for these shots. These were the head shots that Nicki picked!

Letting Tom do the shooting!

Saturday:
I took the CBEST test, which is a test you need to take in order to receive your credentials. Then Tom and I went to go eat at Tajima. It was soooooo good. After that, we went to Mitsuwa and we bought a bunch of snacks to have a picnic on the beach. We stopped by a building which had a forest next to it, and had a mini-photoshoot!

Last week's cuisines

My boyfriend wanted to show me PIEOLOGY because I've never had it before, and I guess there's some sort of "hype" towards it. I didn't want to put my hopes up so high of it tasting great. But IT WAS. The only reason why it was good because it was created by yours truly (; I believe this was last Friday.

On Sunday, Tom and I wanted to reward ourselves with some semi-healthy good eats at BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse. This is our favorite go-to dish at BJ's. It's called "Best Beginnings". It comes with avocado rolls, this other really good veggie roll, chips and spinach/artichoke dip, and mozzarella sticks. It also comes with different sauces: marinara, an asian sauce, and a chipotle sauce. YUM.
